Pulldownit 5 released for 3ds Max

Thinknetic has released Pulldownit 5, the latest version of its destruction plugin for 3ds Max. New features include a fractures solver that computes approximately 2 times faster and gets more debris in impact areas without the need for further adjustment.

Also new is the ability to shatter along part of a curve and refine the number of cracks visually. Surface cracks can be bound to create stress effects, and reversing a crack takes a single click.

Finally, the plugins ability to add roughness to cut faces has been updated so that it now only applies to broken areas in a simulation, producing lighter meshes for rendering or when exporting to game engines.

Several performance and usability improvements are also included. Find out more on the KineticThoughts blog.

Well, because the long delays for Rayfire updates, Pulldownit improved a lot… is already almost better than Rayfire.

What does it do that rayfire doesn’t? Just curious?

Rayfire still more complete and faster. This is the why i said Pulldownit is ALMOST better than Rayfire. 😉 i just complained because Rayfire developers still only investing everything on Rayfire for unity, and the 3dsmax version is abandoned for years, only have compatibility updates.
I am your fan JM, i love your plugins.
