RebusFarm 3.0 released
RebusFarm has announced updates to its Farmizer plugins for 3DS Max, Cinema 4D, and Maya. Other platforms will be released soon.
RebusFarm 3.0 has been rewritten from scratch and includes several new features including new batch render tools with the ability to render multiple cameras from a scene without having to upload it several times.
It is now easier and more accurate to predict the price of a render with a new render cost estimation tool, that uses a test render sent to the farm as the basis for its calculations. Previous versions used computer parameters to calculate costs.
The UX has been improved with each plugin now designed to fit in with the UI and expectations of the host application, it has also been optimised in terms of finding errors and correcting them automatically to minimise the number of warnings.
Finally, you can now pre-upload assets while you are still working on a job so that when it comes time to render, they are already in the cloud ready to go.
The ControlCenter has also been updated with new playback features and the ability to see all the render layers. It’s also easier to resubmit a job with small changes without having to upload the whole project again. A new option to find local files allows the use to find the downloaded renderings easily and the interface is now responsive for viewing on a smartphone.
RebusDrop also sees an update to improve the speed of uploads ad downloads by optimising transfer protocols automatically along with improved stability.
