State of Art Academy has announced that Epic Games is the main sponsor for the 10th edition of Academy Days, the annual archviz conference that takes place near Venice, Italy. The announcement is further evidence of Epic’s intention to move Unreal out of its games-related comfort zone and into the architecture, automotive, science, and aerospace spaces. Attendees should probably also expect to hear more about Epic’s latest acquisition Twinmotion, a real-time tool designed specifically for Archviz that’s built on top of Unreal Engine.
The organisers have also announced an additional day of hands-on training workshops, in addition to the 2-day conference.
Academy Day X takes place on October 4 – 5 with a training day on October 3 at Double Tree by Hilton in Venice. Tickets cost €239. Spaces for the workshops on October 3 will be released soon and will be bookable separately. To find out more visit the event’s page.
