Boomer Labs has updated its useful collection of spline-related tools and enhancements. New features include:
- Spline Overlap – new spline modifier than will detect spline
self-intersections and displace knot position to provide a “piling up”
effect. - Freehand Spline updated – now retains the surface normal obtained
during object constraint for modification later, also provides improved
normal accuracy - Normalize Spline2 updated – freehand normal aware, so that
normals are also adjusted along with knots - PathDeform2 updated – “Use Normal” option added in cases where
the surface normal of the freehand spline is known and available.
Allows for “wrapping” an object around another – something Max users
haven’t been able to do until now. - Max 2016 support
- Relax – Fixed a defect that prevented the spline from updating in
some cases
