I’d be curious to hear if someone has tried it and what their thinking of TeereSculptor.
From the results I’ve seen on YT I’m not sure how much realism can be achieved with it. The demo looks kinda OK but perhaps there’s more to it.

I personally found it to be complex to use, not very intuitive. Haven’t yet figured out how to create a terrain yet. Or how to import an outside terrain properly. I guess I need to look up tutorials instead of fiddling around lol..

That being said, I come from a background in node based terrain modelling. Anything besides that looks alien to me. People used to layer based tools like world creator may feel more comfortable learning TerresSculpter.

A point to note here: Still the only truly free terrain modelling tool. Besides Blender of course.

I doubt you can make convincing landscapes in Blender even coupled with add-ons tailored for this kind of task.

Wow! You came up with that all by yourself..?

With all due respect to the artists who created them, it’s a totally different league compared to Terragen, World Machine and what not.

All are weak. I love Blender, but let’s be real, even with addons it’s not a terrain generator. Gaea is great, World Machine too, and of course Houdini terrain tools can get you anywhere you want.

That was my feeling. The UI seems confusing. I think I’ll just pass on this.
