Two artists from LA-based studio CNCPT who specialize in real-time CG are working on replicating VFX sequences from the Star Wars film The Empire Strikes back using real-time technology. They are working hard to match the look and feel of the original plate photography and miniatures used in the original film. The current video shows the sequences completed so far (in 3 weeks), but the artists plan to complete the whole sequence. Watch the video on YouTube.
