The Void VR theme parks announced

A US-based company is developing an immersive gaming experience that aims to combine VR with real physical environments. “From fighting intergalactic wars on alien planets, to casting spells in the darkest of dungeons”, the void will allow teams of players to explore the digital worlds in an immersive way.
Physical sensations will include elevation changes, touching structures & objects, cold & heat, moisture, simulated liquids and smell. According to the company, the technology allows to create the illusion that the player is exploring miles of terrain or incredibly tall structures without ever leaving the game pod.
