Platige Image, the production studio with headquarters in Warsaw, has confirmed recently that they’ll be working on a feature film based on The Witcher, the fantasy book series by Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski. The film will be directed by Tomek Baginski, who has worked on a number of cinematics for the video game adaptations of The Witcher, and is known for shorts such as The Cathedral (nominated for an Academy Award) and Fallen Art.
