Toolset News – Digital Fusion DFX+

Eyeon software has divided Digital Fusion (its main product for non-linear compositing and special effects post-production) into several modules and is now offering a way to license Digital Fusion by selling a base version of the package with the modules picked by the customer and thus charging considerably less than the price for the whole package. Sounds familiar? 🙂
Eyeon has also made available a downloadable demo of the full featured version of Digital Fusion.

The first 5 offered modules are:
Module 1 – Visual Effects Tracking, stabilizing, rotoscoping, connections, together with calculations and expressions.
Module 2 – Keying Ultra keyer, difference keyer, color corrector, corner positioner and perspective positioner.
Module 3 – Input/Output I/O batch capture video and SCSI tape I/O.
Module 4 – 3D Tools 3D depth tools, Zbuffer, depth of field, Z merge, texture and shade.
Module 5 – Rendering Distributed network rendering with network render manager and render node.
