Vizpark updates Walls & Tiles, Crossmap and Mosaic

Vizpark has released Walls & Tiles 1.4, Crossmap 1.4 and Mosaic 1.1. The updates to its 3DS Max plugins bring various improvements as well as a free Lite version of its new Material Manager, a plugin designed for fast management of Max materials. The Lite version loads, saves and manages presets from Vizpark’s own material and map plugins; the full version is expected to be released soon. Read on for the list of changes in Vizpark’s plugins.

Walls & Tiles 1.4.0 new features

  • Material Manager 1.0 Lite Edition integration
  • Material preset library for vray, Corona, scanline
  • Crossmap 1.4.0 included
  • Render to Maps (bake bitmaps and create new material)
  • New copy protection with nodelocked and floating licenses
  • Display message in Max 2014 or higher to improve viewport
    performance settings
  • Corona Renderer v1.0 compatibility
  • Max number of rows now 10.000 instead of 1.000
  • Random hsv now has up / down selection buttons
  • Diagonal mirroring
  • Add V-Ray displacement modifier button with automatic settings
  • Automatic Size (calculated the number of rows based on brick size
    and uv map)
  • Improved performance by instancing 1 noise map instead of 6 noise
    maps on creation
  • Simplified shader network by replaceing Color Correction maps
    with xmap color corrections

Crossmap 1.4.0 new features

  • Material Manager integration with a new texture / map library
  • Added support for VP Omnitiles
  • Support for 3DS Max 2016
  • Changed licensing/copy protection system now allows far more
    flexible licensing including a floating license model
  • Overhauled UI map listing. Now includes individual map entries
    with more detailed information like significant color, file size,
    resolution. A click button to show the image in an image display has
    also been added
  • Added probability setting for each individual map. In the random
    selection modes this deterimines how frequent or not at all (when set
    to zero) should appear. The higher the setting the more likely it will
    be chosen
  • Sorting of maps has been extended to sort also by colour or by
    probability
  • Added support for Corona render
  • Added global hue / saturation / brightness / exposure / contrast
    controls
  • Added new distribution mode random sequence but unique map first
  • Added limit linear/random selection to similar with a Hue range
  • Added random x/y – offset to source bitmaps

Mosiac 1.1.0 new features

  • Material preset library for V-Ray, Corona, scanline
  • Crossmap 1.4.0 included
  • New copy protection with nodelocked and floating licenses
  • Diagonal mirroring for tiles
  • Gobal color correction for tiles with hue, saturation, value
