Maxon has announced the the release of ZBrush 2023.2. Changes include:
- Anchors Brush: This new tool offers an intuitive way to deform meshes. It allows users to apply anchors onto a mesh and perform a variety of actions, such as Inflate, Twist, Move, and Rotate, with or without symmetry.
- Spotlight Enhancements: The Spotlight feature, which allows artists to load, manipulate, and transfer color and sculptural detail to the surfaces of ZBrush models, now includes updated sliders for increased control over the impact of alphas on surfaces. New Mid-Value and Blur sliders have been added to the feature set.
- Morph Brush Enhancement: The Morph Brush now includes compatibility with Undo History, allowing any instance of the Undo History to be used as a morph target.
- Contact Update: The Contact tool has been updated to allow for intuitive alignment of one mesh to another.

Almost looks as solid as Autodesk’s 3ds Max releases. /s
lol
Hit me up when the UI is completely redone from scratch without a single trace of the 2.5D nonsense.
i agree with you 100%
Nah, such things are taboo, dont you know that any “established normal ui” would look alien to 90 percent of zbrush users? They think every software should look like zbrush.
Completely agree.
I won’t use this tool until it has a normal UI and until they clean up they horrible naming schemes.
Since they also make C4D that has a very clever UI, just C4Dize ZBrush…
