CADJunkie, a well-known and respected member of the Modo community, has compiled an extensive library of paid tutorials focusing on visualization and design for Modo. Richard Hurrey, character TD at Pixar and author of the Rigging Master Course for Modo 501, has been hard at work updating the course. He has been posting new videos showing the new rigs and setups. Murphy is a Modo kit being developed by Marc Albrecht that offers a free rigged human character based on the MakeHuman project's base mesh, rigged with the Automatic Character Setup kit and extended with morphs, deformers, etc. The latest version brings hair meshes, morph corrections, temporary eye textures, eyelashes, etc. Watch a video on YouTube and find out more on The Foundry's forum.

The Foundry will be demonstrating at SolidWorks World 2015 the capabilities of the MODO Extended Bundle, available as of February 9th, 2015. The bundle is aimed primarily at the design market, and includes MODO 801, Mesh Fusion, IntegrityWare's Power Translators and Power SubD-NURBS, as well as some additional digital goods. (Updated) According to a post on The Foundry's forum, an official message from the Corona company confirms that support for Modo is planned but there are "no specific dates" yet.
