Ubisoft has announced an update to Mixer, its open-source Blender add-on designed to facilitate real-time collaboration. It allows multiple Blender users to work on the same scene at the same time. The add-on uses a broadcasting server that is independent of Blender which makes it possible to implement a connection for other 3D editing software. The latest update adds support for synchronising armatures, geometry node trees, and the ability to ignore scene camera. Boomer Labs has announced that IFL Turbo Pro has come out of beta and is out now. It's a new plugin IFL file loader, cache and resizer for 3ds Max that promises to be 3-8x faster than Max's native playback. Once installed it replaces Max's built-in IFL loader.
