Adobe recently previewed a new character animation tool they’re developing: a markerless real-time mocap software that allows to control a puppet in After Effects and record its motion using a webcam and microphone. Watch a demo video on YouTube and find out more on Adobe’s AE blog.
neat technology for sure…one more reason to get a microsoft surface then!
I don’t know – I’ve yet to see anything which isn’t clunky as hell.
Tablets seem fine for consuming media, but creation? I’m not convinced yet.
I’m not even much of a fan of Cintiqs – I find the disconnect between a wacom tablet easier to work with than a pen that’s *slightly* off where I’m drawing.
My Surface (Pro 2),which I actually prefer to the 3,is good for what I use it to do… Quick sketches, roughing out forms in ZB.. It just isn’t big enough for me to be comfortable doing everything on it
