Mintviz reviews the AMD FirePro W8100 graphics card and its 3D rendering performance (using V-Ray RT): ” … a worthy professional workstation GPU from AMD”. More on Mintviz.
Tried a FirePro once, it lasted about 2 hours before going wrong.
Got a replacement, that did the same. Went Nvidia and never had a problem. I know it`s an old argument but I still won`t go back to AMD because of it. I used to have a FireGLPro (1 ?? it was the cheapest) back in the day and that was as robust as anything.

I have also had bad experiences with ATI cards on two workstations. I used to get strange artifacts in my viewport all the time. Made modelling very annoying.
