Two panorama painting tests created with Blender and Max have surfaced recently. It’s a simple setup but fun to watch: Blender video by Mikhail Shablin, 3DS Max video by Marcelo Souza (inspired by Mikhail’s video).

Cool work from Marcelo, but there is a big difference between Max and Blender workflows, the blender one is much more advanced, it paints a “panoramic” but it can paint in 3D because it’s using it’s grease pencil tech who creates strokes in 3D space, so there is no texture or canvas limit and in blender you can put things neare or far away form the camera.
Anyways both videos are cool ideas 🙂
Mmmm I’m reviewing it again and I can be completely wrong, this may be exactly the same as in max, I wonder what kind of effect can be achieved using this with grease pencil, it can be really cool.
Cheers!
