400 MPH short from Supinfocom Rubika
Shock the monkey. Supinfocom, the school founded in 1988 in Valenciennes by Marie-Anne Fontenier, has been the very first institution in the world to consistently produce quality CG shorts. Long-time readers may recall Pfffirate, En Tus Brazos and TimTom, among others.
More than 30 years later the school keeps outputting excellent work. Meet 400 MPH, an adaptation of the Greek myth of Icarus, with impressive aesthetic work as well as quality animation. Created by Julia Chaix, Paul-Eugène Dannaud, Lorraine Desserre, Alice Lefort, Natacha Pianeti and Quentin Tireloque. Software used includes Maya, Houdini, ZBrush and Redshift.
