AlphaVFX announced the upcoming release of BulletFX, a GPU-accelerated, highly customized and optimized version of the Bullet Physics library designed specifically for 3DS Max. Features include rigid bodies, sticky objects, ropes, aerodynamics, a GPU-accelerated pipeline and an in-depth Maxscript API. The plugin is currently in beta, with more features on the way, such as a finite elements solver, fluids, granular solver, etc. The author is taking suggestions on other tools that could be added to the plugin.
BulletFX is expected to be released in the next few days. Watch a preview video on Vimeo and find out more on AlphaVFX’s website.

Awesome! Will definitely be keeping an eye on this one.
I still desperately want softbodies, but this really does look great.
We’ve received numerous request about it, softbodies will be added soon. 🙂
Yesssss! Exciting!
I want it! I hope it wont be expensive. .when is fluids planned?anytime soon?
Fluids aren’t really our focus but BulletFX will support PhoenixFD very soon. So you will be able to use PhoenixFD’s fluid solver to interact with rigidbodies. But with the granular solver you will be able to mimic a sph solver but its really not optimal and I personally hate sph fluids.
Phoenix FD Support? nice..
sorry for my ignorance but what is a sph solver? any idea on the release date? id love to play with it
