Cataclysm, real-time fluids for UE4

NVIDIA has shared Cataclysm, an R & D project to develop fluid systems capable of handling the scale required to flood a city for real-time applications – in this case Unreal Engine 4. The solver can simulate up to two million liquid particles in real time and achieves this using a custom FLIP based GPU solver in combination with with UE4’s GPU Particles with Distance Field Collisions.
