Chaos add traffic simulation with Anima 6
Chaos has introduced a traffic simulation engine in its crowd simulation tool Anima 6. The update incorporates automated traffic behaviors designed to follow international driving rules, navigate intersections, and interact with pedestrian elements in a natural way.
Vehicles in Anima 6 can simulate realistic movement, including wheel spins, chassis roll, and adaptations to terrain conditions. Collision handling is automated to help maintain consistent vehicle interactions. Users can define traffic routes within scenes using built-in tools and generate traffic without requiring prior experience in animation or physics simulations.
The software also now includes customization features such as color editing and automatic material generation for characters. A redesigned interface and an updated graphics engine are included to support the performance demands of large simulations.
The update also extends the 4D people library to more than 4,000 assets. These characters represent a range of ethnicities and clothing styles, with new additions scheduled monthly.
