Toronto-based Maide has created an Ipad app that allows you to control certain aspects of 3D modeling software with the Ipad’s multi-touch interface. It can be used in combination with the mouse or for collaborative work with multiple Ipads. Maide Control currently supports SketchUp and Rhino, but 3DS Max control is expected soon. The software is designed for modeling, collaborative design sessions and also to allow users to unchain themselves from their computers while presenting their designs, and to use the Ipad as a presentation tool. Watch two demo videos on YouTube (video 1–video 2) and find out more at Maide.

Any plans for a Revit I-Pad controller?
