The Blender Foundation has made available the opening of the film Cosmos Laundromat. The 10-minute pilot “First Cycle” was directed by Mathieu Auvray based on a story written by Esther Wouda. Once again, impressive work created with Blender. Watch the film on YouTube and find out more on Project Gooseberry’s website.

Great, great job!
I think I’ve enjoyed the story more than the renders.
A few things are not quite there yet, like particles hair for instance (both for the sheep and the grass).
But all in all it’s a great piece, hope to see more.

Interesting though, why do you think that? I liked the hair, I think it’s not realistic on purpose, the only think I put in question is the Victor characters, it seems like a child with beard, it’s a bit strange hehehe

I guess I’d have to see it side-by-side with something “better” but the hair and grass looked amazing to me. Victor’s hair and beard look strange but I think that’s more a character design problem than a problem with the hair system itself. Looking forward to part II! 🙂
