This is very cool. I did a lot of RnD on this process and would have loved something like this to help automate the HumanIK setup. I wonder whether it deals with the annoying combined mesh problem and the annoying workarounds required to separate the mesh geo….I ended up needing to break the skin and reapply it by saving out the weight maps prior to separating the geo.
If this plugin could automatically build a facial rig for Genesis 3 characters I would snap it up right now. Especially if it made good use of all the facial bone weight painting that has been done on Genesis 3.
I’d like to get in touch with the developer but I can’t seem to find any contact details.
Hi Leee!
Nice message, about contacting me just by 3dtoall facebook message system I answer very fast there 🙂
Facial rig is there for figures that have already facial rig in Daz (genesis 7, etc), only unhide the bones and you can control them from Maya.
For any doubt contact me by facebook private message or by the site contact form, Hasta Luego!
Thanks for getting in touch Marcelo, I’ll PM you soon.
Thanks
Lee
Hi! Any chance this is coming to Blender?
Blender already has a pretty good addon for this.
