Such are the perils of writing on a daily (or even hourly) basis;
Steve has now announced that a bug in the 3D Studio MAX API, which may be “affecting the performance of many rendering related plugins”, will delay the release of any RayFX * plugin for a couple of days until a solid workaround is in place.
Note to other developers : Steve will be explaining the API issue on the Discreet Support webboard’s SDK forum. A short summary of the information will, of course, be reported here as well.
