Hurricane is a physics simulation engine and particle solver for Blender developed by Spain-based BeFX Studios. It allows to create complex simulations of fluids, fabrics, soft bodies, sand and grain particles, and dynamic interactions combining all of them within a single simulation.
Key Features include: multi-solver architecture supporting multiple simulation methods, real interaction between different materials and physics systems, built on XPBD for stable and high-quality simulations, includes DDR (Double Density Relaxation) for particle-based materials and fluid-like behavior, integration with Geometry Nodes allowing to generate secondary particles (like foam and bubbles), an expressions editor that compiles code in real-time to inject custom forces, modify particle colors based on speed, guide simulations using scene objects, etc.
Hurricane is currently available in beta at a special 30% discount price. Upon the release of the definitive version, the engine will run natively on the GPU and will include many new tools. Additionally, the advanced FLIP and MPM solvers will be included in the list of solvers in the near future.
