DMZ Scripts releases Script Box for 3ds Max
DMZ Scripts has released Script Box, a new tool designed to streamline the process of installing and executing Maxscripts by allowing users to select any folder to generate a dynamic dialog menu.
Script Box stands out for its ability to organize various script types within 3ds Max, including macroScripts, plugins, utilities, and regular scripts. This organization is achieved without requiring users to navigate through complex procedures. The tool’s main features include a dynamic interface, multi-threaded script loading, the inclusion of sub-folders, and grouping options based on script type. Additionally, Script Box provides extended tooltip information and the capability to open MaxScripts directly in the Scripting editor.
Version 1 of Script Box is currently available for free and offers the same functionality as its paid counterpart. However, future updates will be exclusive to paid users. The tool supports 3ds Max versions from 2021 to 2024 and is compatible with .ms, .mse, and .mcr file formats. Script Box accommodates various script categories including MacroScript, Plugin, Utility, and regular Maxscripts.
