As many of you may know, Manex is no longer doing the effects for the maxtrix sequels. Well, more information is out thanks to Variety regarding who’s handling the FX. And the FX goes to…ESC Entertainment. Who is ESC, you ask? Valid question, since it only officially became an entity this past Friday, put together by the members of the Manex team that worked on Matrix 1. In fact, ESC is, according to the mag, still drawing Manex digital artists away to join their new company, which was formed with Village Roadshow. Manex is now checking out their legal options that might gain them some much-needed coin out of the deal.
