HDR Light Studio 8.2.2 released with improved Blender integration
Lightmap has announced the release of HDR Light Studio 8.2.2. This version introduces a new feature that streams the Blender Viewport directly into the HDR Light Studio interface allowing users to use LightPaint tools directly on Blender’s interactive render.
The updated add-on eliminates the need to export scenes into HDR Light Studio or arrange the interface around Blender’s rendering viewport and offers faster and more responsive manipulation of area lights within the scene.
The new release also includes a Texture Scale setting in the Light Properties panel, allowing users to adjust the resolution of each area light. This feature is particularly useful for managing memory usage in Unreal.
