Makes me want to spend more time in Houdini.

How many times do you need to do sand or snow. Seems like houdini is still very specialized.

not many times it’s just a cool possibility like the crowd system you don’t need it a lot. 🙂 but the PBD solver for the sand can do much more…..

they also have update the UV workflow / Modeling / Animation but for that you don’t get a WOW

That sounds like Eddie Perlberg talking–how often do you need that!?! The point is the few times I need that, 3dsmax doesn’t have it…which is why we aren’t a one product shop anymore and why this is likely our last year on subscription

Hey Jim … I imagine that Max is your central hub. Are you considering changing it to Houdini? I mean … Houdini is badass, but for specific tasks, no?
