IFL playback manager for 3ds Max
Spline Dynamics has released IFL Playback Manager v1.0, a script for 3ds Max designed to manage the timing of animated textures. Compatible with 3ds Max 2015 and later, the tool automatically detects textures with assigned .ifl files and provides direct control over their playback settings.
The script allows users to list all animated textures in a scene or filter them based on selected objects. It includes a thumbnail preview alongside the corresponding .ifl file name, offering an overview of the animation assets in use. Users can adjust key playback parameters such as start time, playback rate, and end condition. The script also features quick access to the Material Editor, isolating the material linked to the selected texture in a new tab.
IFL Playback Manager supports both 3ds Max Standard Bitmap and VRay Bitmap textures, making it suitable for a range of workflows involving animated materials.
