New features in the latest version of Glare Technologies’ Indigo Renderer include:
- Significant improvements in rendering speed and loading time
- New Architectural Glass material
- Object scattering with presets for realistic lawns
- Improved shading
- Better sky model
- Enhanced SketchUp integration
Indigo 3.8 is being offered at a discount price until December 31st. V4.0 of the renderer has also been announced, which will feature support for pure GPU rendering, a new OpenCL-based rendering core and photon mapping extensions for bidirectional path tracing (designed to handle scenes that combine small light sources and specular materials like glass or water).
