Germany-based Laubwerk announced that its Plants Kit 7 is available for pre-order. The new collection will offer 10 species of tropical palms; each species comes in 36 variations per species (i.e. 3 variants, 3 ages and 4 seasonal aspects), for a total of 360 models. Laubwerk Plants Kits offer tools that allow for quick adjustment of shape, age, season and level of detail for each 3D plant. The new Plants Kit 7 is expected to be released by mid February.

Laubwerk has also updated its Plant Kits and Player plugin to v1.0.19, the new version brings Octane Render support (for 3DS Max and Cinema 4D), better compatibility with Cinema 4D R17 Team Render and improvements for Thea Render 1.5.x.

Also of note, Laubwerk announced a sale with a 20% discount from now until February 3rd, using the coupon code “Winter-Sale-2016” on checkout.
