Coursera have announced a new open online course on the history art through the lens of the work of modern artists, games designers and animators. The stated aim is to explore art history by asking how a contemporary artist’s creative process “makes a conversation” with a wide range of historical artistic influences. The course, starting in October, is free to join and is being run by Jeannene Przyblyski, Provost and Faculty in the School of Art at CalArts. Enrol or find out more at Coursera.
