Mapping the world's relationships

“Tell me who you hang out with, and I’ll tell you who you are” (from the Spanish saying “Dime con quién andas y te diré quién eres”). Thanks to the research of Stanford graduate Mia Newman, Facebook has published a very interesting CG representation of world’s relationships that shows which countries share the greatest number of connections on Facebook, offering a glimpse at their shifting identities. More on Facebook Stories. (Note: some countries use services other than Facebook for connecting socially, so the results may be rather inaccurate in some cases.)
