yes the technical side is very nice.. but the directing and voice acting is rather uninspiring. It doesn’t do anything for me.
very Blur studios run of the mill type.
I also have a problem with the childish semi lame super hero universe.
guess i’m not the in the target group on that one.
Blur should seriously hire a talented director to do some work.
They clearly got owned by Digic on the Warhammer cinematics. The latest Digic Warhammer: Mark of Chaos cinematic had so much more soul and atmosphere than the Blur Warhammer Online one.
not that it’s all Blur bashing.. they do some really awesome work now and then.
I respect Blur a lot, a friend actually works there, but there is always something a bit weired about their character animation. I really enjoy the shorts they released a while ago (gopher, and the other caveman one) but for realistic stuff, I don’t really know what but there is something odd. I tried to look carefully to find out what it is but can’t really tell. Could be because they use a lot of motion capture. The shoulders feel a bit stiff. Or maybe that the physicality is not spot on. Some shots feel like there is no weight. I don’t know, I will pay attention closely one day.
