CLO Virtual Fashion has announced the release of Marvelous Designer 7, their clothes modelling and simulation software. New features include:
- Flattening, to draw lines directly on an avatar and extract a flattened pattern.
- The ability to create segment darts along pattern outlines.
- The ability to offset internal lines along a curve.
- A new modular mode for quick creation of outfits from existing parts.
- The ability to add zips.
- Realistic stitching using real geometry for detailed close-ups.
- Animated pins.
- Wind animation.
- Support for Python scripting.
