A file has been posted at Discreet’s website called “3dsmaxpatch42.exe”. This is NOT the final version of 4.2. If you have downloaded this file, DO NOT install it. Anything you create with it may cause problems when the real 4.2 update is loaded. You may also have to uninstall and then reinstall Max completely to get rid of it properly.
