Discreet has discovered that 3ds max SP1 (patch 4.01) ,
posted on the Web last week,
includes a large problem causing max to crash after two scenes
xrefs.
Therefore 3ds max SP1 has been removed from the
http://www.discreet.com
download site and we expect to release a 3ds max SP2 (patch 4.02) by
Wednesday 21/03/2001 this week.
Users who may have pulled down 4.01
are advised to re-install their original
3ds max 4.0 CD using the repair option.
