The following changes have been made:
- Internal code cleanup in some sections
- more efficient
- simplifies expanding the site with new features / new looks
- much easier to maintain
- implemented the “forgot your password?” section.
- implemented searching for news and users
- only exact match, case insensitive searches for the moment
- the mode (news vs users isn’t sticky at the moment – this could use some work.
I still hope to get emails out to everyone with passwords as soon as possible. In the meantime, if you don’t want to wait, just use the “forgot your password?” link to have a new password sent to you right away.
