Japanese developer Expression Tools has released an English version of ETShade, its 3D modeling, rendering and animation program. Highlights include: Subdivision Surfaces, Area Lights, Metashapes (fuses meta elements such as MetaBalls, MetaCubes, MetaCylinders and any polygon shape), Pseudo Caustics (reflects bump attributes of shapes/surfaces into the permeated shadows), Pseudo Aberration (expresses color aberration according to the bump attributes of shapes/surfaces) and Radiosity.
