NI Mate 2.02 motion capture software released

Finland-based Delicode have released v2.02 of their cross-platform motion capture software and high-level programming language for depth cameras. Changes since v1.0 include: extended sensor support (Kinect for Windows/XBOX One and Leap Motion), simultaneous sensor support, BVH export, GPU support for live feeds (Spout on Windows, Syphon on OS X), redesigned UI, etc.
The company has changed licensing to the rental model. Upcoming developments have also been disclosed, which include MotionBuilder support, FBX support, processing integration and HMD support (starting with the Oculus Rift). NI Mate can integrate easily with 3D applications through plugins, which are available for Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya and Unity, among others. A trial version is available. More on NI Mate’s website.
