Discreet will be discontinuing the edit NT-based nonlinear editing system effective June 30, 2002.

“Digital Media Net has obtained a letter from Discreet, Inc. informing its resellers that its nonlinear editing software, Edit 6.5, will no longer be sold as of June 30th of this year. In the letter, Paul Lypaczewski, General Manager of Discreet says although the application is to be discontinued, the company will continue to support all versions of Edit through August 31, 2003.“
