Madrid-based Next Limit have released the latest version of their fluid dynamics simulation software. New features include:
– Improvements to Hybrido workflow and performance – dripping water, automatic foam generation, faster simulations, new emitters (Wet, Waterline, Splash&Foam, Wet&Foam), greater control of fluid surfaces, better control of the strength of interaction between objects and fluids, secondary splashes, etc.
– New Fracture Tool – a built-in, easy-to-use tool to create fractured objects directly within your project
– New Retimer Tool – retime any scene, or add special effects like bullet-time and slow-motion with just a few clicks of the mouse
– New MultiServos engines – use engines to control dynamic simulations
– UI enhancements
Next Limit have adopted Autodesk-style versioning, rather than labeling the latest release “RealFlow 6” they are now calling it “2012”. More information and sample videos at RealFlow.com.
