Remove.bg is a website that promises to automatically remove the background from photographs of people in one click. Until now, this was achieved by uploading your image to the web, but the company now offer a simplified process using a Photoshop plugin. The image is still uploaded to the cloud, but it’s now a more seamless process. The other advantage is that the plugin returns a photoshop mask that can be further refined if necessary. The website offers unlimited free background removal for small images and a free account allows for 50 API calls per month from the plugin for small images, if you want to process HD images or use the product commercially you’ll need to subscribe to a credit-based plan starting at $8 per month.
