Pulze has announced the release of Render Manager 2, the latest version of its artist-friendly rendering management software for 3ds Max. Improvements include:
- A new centralised job distribution system for more flexibility and an improved experience.
- New job management options, including a new Top-Bottom mode where the order of jobs is based on their priority. The order can be easily reorganised by drag dropping them into the queue.
- Improved job creation including the addition of essential render settings, the ability to handpick PCs, an option to change camera views and more.
- New edit options to allow users to modify essential settings without the need to resubmit a render.
- Added support for V-Ray resumable rendering.
- Packed tasks that allow users to define the number of frames that a node should continuously work on.
- Improved integration with Scene Manager to allow the user to submit multiple setups with one click. It is also now possible to batch modify Scene Modifier settings without opening the file.
- Improved visual feedback.
- Improved error handling and reporting.
