Sachform Technology has released PANObase Vol.1, a collection of ultra-high-res texture maps in HDR- format (High Dynamic Range Image). The images have a resolution of 8000×4000 pixels, double that of previous Sachform products.

Each of the 30 HDR-images is enclosed in 3 different HDR- and 2 different LDR-variations.
The highres versions (8000×4000 in color and b/w) are well suited for most job-situations where a reflection-environment is needed.
Using the enclosed blurred versions (200×100 in color and b/w) of the panoramas, the artist is able to lighten scenes (in most cases) with faster rendering speed/smoother sampling distribution.
Using such a combination of LowRes and HighRes HDR-images the artist receives freedom of choice while keeping speed and quality concerning the output.
