3D painting simulation at the bristle level
Researchers from Ohio State University and Adobe have presented a real-time painting system called Wetbrush that simulates the interactions between brush, paint and canvas at the bristle level. They implemented the system on the GPU, and according to the researchers, it allows artists to use techniques from traditional painting that they are already familiar with.
