Houdini 7
contains many significant features that improve workflow for the
complete CG pipeline, including a new Shader building environment that
lets artists create RenderMan shaders without having to write code, and
an enhanced implementation of Houdini’s Interactive Photorealistic
Rendering (IPR) that works with RenderMan directly. The newly
introduced Houdini Escape is a comprehensive modeling and character
animation package. The character tools in Houdini Escape have been
refined for years in Houdini Master and are now available for $1999.
