Adobe has released a live stream in which they discuss recent developments as well as upcoming features for the Substance range of tools. In addition to several improvements to Painter, perhaps the most interesting new addition is a new AI-powered tool in Alchemist that is able to create whole materials based on a single input image. Codenamed Materia, the new feature has been trained on thousands of scanned materials and can create normal and height maps from a single image. The Albedo is also automatically delit.
