Paul Neale has released a tutorial demonstrating how to create procedural vines in 3ds Max using built-in tools. The setup includes fully procedural vines, leaves, and flowers that dynamically grow and conform to objects in a scene. Watch the video on YouTube.









Amazing stuff. I’d like to see such methods expanded even further. Max needs some update to or a total redesign of MCG to increase it procedural potential. Something like Blender’s geo nodes.
Maybe in future, for now there is 1000 other archaic and more important things to update/fix. Whole interface is complet old mess…
Autodesk will Never do! They don‘t understand useability.
They don’t care. If it brings profits it’s ok. When it stops it will end like Modo and XSI.
